Description: Carry out instructions from supervisor. - Determine and make proper "cut" sizes for acrylic and polycarbonate to be panformed, assuring optimal use of materials and minimize waste. Trim panformed faces to appropriate dimensions. - Prepare all materials to be panformed including polycarbonate thoroughly dried, static eliminated, and surface clean. - Construct molds and tooling as required for any standard or custom shape sign. - Complete knowledge of forming temperatures, drying temperatures and shrinking allowances. Complete knowledge of panforming techniques and procedures, temperature and time settings for panforming machine and "dryer". - Maintain proper inventory of all materials used for the area. Advise supervisor when additional materials are required well in advance to avoid delays. - Repair and perform preventative maintenance on all tools, machines and equipment in the department. - Help train new employees as requested by supervisor. - Advise production manager or sales department if work order requirements exceed acceptable standards -- (thickness of material too thin for face sign specified, seam inappropriate location, flange width too short for retainer heights, etc.). - All duties to be performed according to company quality control standards. - Keep accurate daily job ticket and record all material used on the work order.

Pay scale: $7.75/hr. (entry) - $13.25/hr. (top)
