Key Responsibilities:

  1. Attain company financial goals and other key indicators such as: Sales volume, Cost of Goods Sold, Gross Profit, Profit Before Tax, Quality, and Productivity.
  2. Supervise the Sales and Service & Installation staff to ensure productivity to meet or exceed company goals and customer expectations.
  3. Assist in establishing, communicating, and execution of Strategic Planning goals and vision of Stein Sign Display.
  4. Conduct weekly team meeting to set the service & installation plan for the upcoming week(s). 
  5. Conduct meaningful Performance Appraisals in a timely manner.  Schedule regular weekly 1:1’s with each team member. 
  6. Perform sales as applicable to increase revenue and meet customer service needs.
  7. Enforce all safety guidelines.  As applicable, ensure all team members are trained on the proper use and care of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), tools, equipment, machines, cranes, vehicles, and etc. 
  8. Proper care and maintenance of tools, equipment, machinery, and vehicles.
  9. Supervise billboard portfolio to maximize revenue through high occupancy rates. Assist Billboard Manager in locating new billboard sites.  Ensure that all files for billboard locations, landowners and advertisers are current and accurate. 
  10. Review accuracy of mark-ups, selling prices and cost figures (material, labor, subcontracting, etc.)
  11. All sign installations and service work to be performed in a professional and efficient manner, meeting internal engineering standards and structural integrity requirements.
  12. Application of Lean Manufacturing principles and 6S standards.  Conduct monthly Lean Review with team by taking pictures of each office, shed area, and crane trucks.  Provide at least 1 action item for each person. 
  13. Maximize turnover rates of inventory and control of expenditures.
  14. Carry out instructions from supervisor and complete in goal time.
  15. Drive for Facebook/Google reviews, as a way to promote higher Search Engine Optimization and greater customer confidence. 
  16. Hold a fun team building activity (on site) once per quarter. 

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years supervisory experience.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Prior sales experience
  • Effective in Microsoft Excel & Word
