Thermoformed (Pan) Faces

Thermoformed—or “pan”—faces are one of ESCO’s most in-demand products. Using advanced, computer-assisted forming machines, we deliver consistent, high-quality results whether you need 1 or 1,000 faces.

Our in-house tooling shop and robotic mold systems allow us to create custom embossing and debossing with ease. From logos to unique sizes, our experienced operators can handle nearly any request.

Push-Thru Letters & Logos

Push-thru letters and logos add a premium dimensional effect by inserting clear or colored acrylic through a routed face. Backed with a plastic underlay and applied from the inside, this method creates striking visual depth—ideal for illuminated signage.

Options include:

  • Frosted & Semi-Translucent for a softer, diffused glow

Routed Aluminum

Routed aluminum faces offer a sleek, upscale look ideal for high-end signage applications. ESCO stocks a variety of aluminum sheet sizes to accommodate almost any project.

One popular option is the “shoebox” style—a flat aluminum face with clean edges and no visible retainers, delivering a seamless, modern finish.

Enhance with:

  • Plastic backers for illuminated cutouts
  • Push-thru letters or logos, applied from the inside
    • Available in polished clear or frosted translucent acrylic for added depth and glow

Flexible Faces

ESCO has been a pioneer in the flexible face market since the 1970s, originally developed as a durable companion to our custom sign cabinets. Today, we continue to produce large-format flexible faces in a wide range of sizes and shapes, including custom configurations.

Flexible faces can be secured with clamp or wedge systems, and bleed face options are available for full-coverage graphics.

To enhance durability and appearance, we offer a clear protective top coat that shields graphics from environmental damage—protecting against smog, UV rays, dirt, weather, and more.
